Frequently Asked Questions

  • Your first session is an opportunity for us to get to know each other and understand what brings you to therapy. We’ll explore your concerns, background, and goals, and you’ll have space to ask questions about the process. This helps ensure you feel comfortable and that we’re a good fit moving forward.

  • Therapy can be helpful if you’re feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or wanting to better understand yourself and your experiences. You don’t need to be in crisis to benefit—many people come to therapy for personal growth, relationship support, or emotional clarity. If you’re unsure, a consultation can help you decide.

  • Sessions are typically held once per week, especially at the beginning of therapy. As we progress, we may adjust the frequency based on your needs and goals. Some clients choose to space sessions out as they begin to feel more confident and supported.

  • The length of therapy varies depending on your goals and the nature of what you’re working through. Some clients attend for a shorter period focused on specific concerns, while others engage in longer-term work for deeper exploration. We will regularly review your progress together.

  • Individual sessions are typically 50 minutes in length. Fees are in the range of $180–$200 per session. A free 15-minute consultation is available to help you determine if this is the right fit.
